<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting reception apparatus for providing a function for receiving both of a strong hierarchy and a weak hierarchy and for suitably performing its switching without causing troubls to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A digital tuner unit 30 comprises means (tuner 2, demultiplexer 3, AV decoder 4, H.264 decoder 9) each performing the reception of terrestrial digital broadcasting and an output of image data by a segment of a designated hierarchy, a means (system controller 13) for determining the reception quality of a received broadcasting wave based on an error rate supplied from the tuner 2, and switching means (system controller 13, switches 21, 22) each switching an image output state by the weak hierarchy to an image output state by the strong hierarchy (one-segment broadcasting) which is comparatively insusceptible to be influenced by a reception environment even though image quality is rough when the reception quality becomes lower than a first threshold value (X1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
