PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming mechanism in a vertical multi-row automatic packaging machine, which can prevent deforming in a cylindrical bag pasted in an envelope shape by carrying out regulation at forming a packaging film more strongly and can prevent bad sealing result or defect in sealing. SOLUTION: The forming mechanism in the vertical multi-row automatic packaging machine, which can perform a seal forming of a plurality of stick packaging bags continuously at one time, is composed of a forming member 6 having a hole part 63 and a guide groove 62 and a filling pipe 5 fit in the hole part 63 of the forming member 6, wherein an overlap state of the both ends of a packaging film inserted in a space between the filling pipe 5 and the hole part 63 of the forming member 6 is defined uniquely by the guide groove 62 and also overlapping width is regulated and kept constant.
