The invention relates to a device for preparing a homogeneous mixture consisting of fuel and oxidants, comprising: means (5) for supplying liquid fuel to an evaporator; means (4) for supplying gaseous oxidants into a mixing zone located downstream from the evaporator, and; a reaction zone located downstream from the mixing zone (12). According to the invention, a packed structure (3) is arranged in the reaction zone (14). The invention also relates to a method for preparing a homogeneous mixture consisting of fuel and oxidants.
