<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tyrosinase inhibitor using a raw material such as a highly safe rose hip and an industrially effective process for production of the tyrosinase inhibitor without fluctuation of the amount of effective ingredient using the raw material such as highly safe rose hip. <P>SOLUTION: The tyrosinase inhibitor comprises an extract of rose hip as an effective ingredient.
