PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an oscillator circuit may oscillate at a frequency other than a desired frequency, and that the waveform of an oscillation frequency to be output may not approximate to a sine wave. SOLUTION: The oscillator circuit includes a CMOS inverter connected between a first potential and a second potential; a first element section having one end connected to an input end of the CMOS inverter; second element section having one end connected to the input end of the CMOS inverter and the other end connected to an output end of the CMOS inverter; a third element section having one end connected to the output end of the CMOS inverter; and a fourth element section having one end connected to the other end of the first element section and to the other end of the third element section, and the other end connected to any one of the first potential and the second potential. The first, second, third and fourth element sections are each any one of a crystal resonator, a resistor, an inductor and a capacitor, and oscillate at frequencies defined by the first, second and third element sections.
