<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based coating composition for a ceramic green sheet which can stably form a thick sheet without causing various defects such as cracks and orange peels even when a water-based solvent is used, and to provide a method for manufacturing a ceramic green sheet and a method for manufacturing ceramic electronic parts. <P>SOLUTION: The water-based coating composition for the ceramic green sheet comprises at least a ceramic source material, a binder resin, a dispersant, a wetting agent and solvent water. The wetting agent is one or more kinds of fluorine-based wetting agent, succinic acid-based wetting agents and acetylenediol-based wetting agents. The wetting agent is preferably included by 0.01 to 5 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of the dielectric source material included in the ceramic source material.
