PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise pick finding property by dividing a coated optical fiber ribbon together in batch when tearing an outer sheath from a notched part. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable 1 has a long-length optical element part constituted of: a coated optical fiber ribbon 7 formed by coating two or more paralleled optical fibers 3 with a coating resin 5 in batch; an outer sheath 11 covering the outer periphery of the coated optical fiber ribbon 7; and at least one or more notched parts 15 disposed within the width range of the coated optical fiber ribbon 7, and is characterized in that the batch covering resin 5 of the coated optical fiber ribbon 7 has strength permitting to tear the coated optical fiber ribbon 7 together when tearing the outer sheath 11 from the notched part 15.
