摘要 <p>A hearth structure of rotary hearth furnace (1) capable of realizing safe and smooth operation is provided through as usual forming of a gap between refractories (13) and filling of various refractories or refractory raw materials in the gap, further finding of a novel structure designing technique ensuring a thermal expansion absorbing function by another method, and still further preventing of any contact between hearth structure and furnace side wall (3,4) attributed to thermal expansion of the refractories (13). The hearth structure of rotary hearth furnace (1) is one having two or more layers of refractories laid between side blocks (9,10) built on an inner circumferential end and outer circumferential end of hearth refractory constructed floor (7) of the rotary hearth furnace (1) and having powdery or block hearth material (16) laid on the upper surface of the refractories, characterized in that for at least refractory (14) laid on the uppermost layer, use is made of a refractory material having a compressive strength of 0.1 to 5 MPa at 800 to 1500°C.</p>
