MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A mobile communication terminal and a wireless communication system are provided to switch automatically to other communication mode if a user goes into or comes out of a hot spot area, to increase availability and to enhance the convenience of the WLAN(Wireless LAN). A wireless communication system comprises a WLAN hot spot(1), a WLAN BS(Base Station)(2), a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO BS(3), a mobile phone(4), a server(5) and a GPS(Global Positioning System). The WLAN BS(Base Station)(2) provides a WLAN connection service within the WLAN hot spot(1). The CDMA2000 1xEV-DO BS(3) provides a CDMA2000 1xEV-DO connection service. The mobile phone(4) communicates with the WLAN hot spot(1) and the WLAN within the CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network. The server(5) communicates with the WLAN BS(2) and the CDMA2000 1xEV-DO BS(3) via a communication link, for example the internet. The server(5) includes a memory(6) for storing the location data of the hot spot. The GPS(7) detects location of the mobile phone.
