<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which creates a two color image which has higher precision and little unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a two color image forming function. The image forming apparatus: makes an arbitrary pixel as a specific pixel; discriminates continuity based on a predetermined relation of the specific pixel and a pixel adjoining the specific pixel (S110); an extract color discrimination result of the specific pixel which is discriminated that there is no continuity, is replaced by the extract color discrimination result of pixels which adjoin with the specific pixel in a continuity discrimination area and occupy more than a predetermined ratio (S120); output image data in which a non-extracted color of the input image data is converted to the predetermined color based on the replaced extract color discrimination result and color intensity of input image data, are calculated (S60); and image formation is performed (S70). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
