PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a resin member which can suppress entering of lubricating oil as far as possible even in a case where carbon fibers are blended, in this kind of fluid bearing device. SOLUTION: A housing part 7 as a resin member is formed by injection-molding resin composition using PPS as a base resin and containing carbon fibers. The housing part 7 is in contact with ester-based lubricating oil filling the inside of a bearing. In this case, the resin composition is made by cutting a large number of carbon fibers bound with binding material not containing urethane resin and blending the cut and divided carbon fibers into PPS.
