PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure member capable of preventing a wavy base from carelessly extending along the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: This closure member 1 comprises an extendable band-like wavy base 6 having a generally wavy cross section the wave advancing direction A of which matches the longitudinal direction thereof. An adhesive tape 7 is mounted on the rear surface of the wavy base 6. A peeling sheet is peelably mounted on the adhesive tape 7. A band-like extension restraining body 9 for restraining extension of the wavy base 6 along the longitudinal direction of the wavy base 6 is mounted on the rear surface of the wavy base 6 along the longitudinal direction of the wavy base 6.
