<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably regenerate an exhaust emission control device, by restraining the partial presence of a flow of exhaust gas in an inlet of the exhaust emission control device, while restraining a drop in the exhaust gas temperature in the inlet of the exhaust emission control device. <P>SOLUTION: This engine with a supercharger is formed by mutually arranging a high pressure stage turbine 12, a low pressure stage turbine 14 and the exhaust emission control device 22 in series from the upstream side in an exhaust passage 5 of the engine 1. The exhaust passage 5 is provided with a bypass flow passage 20 for supplying the exhaust gas exhausted from the high pressure stage turbine 12 to the exhaust emission control device 22 by bypassing the low pressure stage turbine 14. The bypass flow passage 20 is formed in a straight line shape up to the inlet of the exhaust emission control device 22 from an outlet of the high pressure stage turbine 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
