PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of automatically establishing wireless connection to an external device that has high possibility of being used. SOLUTION: A device detection unit 31 controls a radio communication section within a computer 10 and detects an external device located within a radio communication area (also referred to as radio range) covered by the radio communication section. A distance calculation unit 32 calculates the distance between the computer 10 and the detected external device, based on the radio wave intensity of the radio signal transmitted from the detected external device. A connection control unit 33 automatically establishes wireless connection between the detected external device and the computer 10, if the calculated distance is within a predetermined reference distance of D.
