The device has a base module with a power supply and a storage unit, and a sensor device (16) for non invasive measurement of a measuring signal representing heart and/or breathing activities such as pulse frequency and oxygen saturation. An analysis device extracting continuous wave parameters (CWP) from the signal is attached to the sensor device. Continuous wave fluctuation (CWF) is determined from the CWP and/or the measuring signal. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining and analyzing bio data of living things.
