A coupling apparatus for branching of a synthetic resin pipe is provided to connect a wide variety of types of branch pipes by using a single connection pipe. A coupling apparatus for branching of a synthetic resin pipe includes a connection pipe(120), a first packing member(130), a cover member(140), a joint member(150), and a first fixing member(180). The connection pipe is fitted to a branch hole(101) of a main pipe(100), and has an outer surface with a male screw portion(123) and one end with a flange portion(121). The first packing member is fitted to the flange portion of the connection pipe and an inner wall of the main pipe. The cover member is fitted to the connection pipe, and has one end with a flange portion(141) coupled to the main pipe such that the branch hole is closed. The joint member is screw-jointed to the male screw portion of the connection pipe so as to fix the cover member and the first packing member to the main pipe. The first fixing member is screw- jointed to the male screw portion of the connection pipe so as to clamp a branch pipe(110) inserted in the connection pipe. The first fixing member has a top with a stopper(185) having an inner diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the connection pipe. The connection pipe has an inner surface with a step such that the branch pipe gets caught at the step of the connection pipe when the branch pipe is connected. |
