METHOD FOR PROSTHETICS OF ANTERIOR ABDOMINAL WALL

FIELD: medicine, surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with prosthetics of anterior abdominal wall in case of inguinal and femoral hernias. Operation should be fulfilled out of preperitoneal access. One should spread a prolene implant at posterior surface of anterior abdominal wall to fix towards transverse fascia along the perimeter; free edge of the implant should be turned under the upper edge of surgical wound to be fixed towards internal oblique and transverse muscles.
