A system and a method for providing a sponsor in an online game are provided to offer the sponsor differentially for a game character appeared in the online game corresponding to a game level of each member. A game content providing server(120) provides online game contents including each game level to a plurality of member terminals(140) joined in the online game through the Internet and provides the game character to each member. A sponsor providing server(110) stores a sponsor image for each sponsor company and maps the sponsor image classified into each game level to a part of the game character based on a contract selected by the member. The sponsor providing server sets a contract condition for a sponsor image display mode and rewards, and destructs a contract with the member violating the contract condition by checking contract observation of the member. The sponsor providing server includes various databases, an image generator, an image mapper, a sponsor register, a contract maker, a contract observation monitor, and a charge processor. |
