A battery for a mobile terminal, and a mobile terminal containing the battery are provided to reduce the size and thickness of a mobile battery by installing a locker in a battery. A battery for a mobile terminal comprises a housing part which protects a battery cell from the outside; and a locking device which is installed at the housing part and is provided with a locker(310) for allowing the battery to be mounted or separated and an elastic member(320) for providing a restoring force to the original position in case of the movement of the locker by external force. Preferably the elastic member is made of a plate spring. |
