PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable soldering type connector capable of easily tentatively holding a covering part of a cable as it is, of surely and evenly soldering a core wire to a tail part of a contact, and of preventing the contact point part of the contact from being contaminated by solder in the soldering. SOLUTION: A tail base part 3 is projected from a rear surface of a connector body 1; a tail part 5b of each contact 5 is projected along the upper surface of the tail base part from the rear surface of the connector body and supported by it; a soldering hole 9 is formed in the tail part of each contact on the tail base part; and a U-shaped catching part 8 for catching the covering part of the cable is formed at the rear end of each tail part.
