PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-stiffness suspension suitable for a small size slider and micro actuator, a head gimbal assembly (HGA) equipped with the suspension, and a disk unit. SOLUTION: The disk unit comprises a base plate to which the suspension 207 for the head gimbal is attached, a flexure having a suspension tongue to hold a magnetic head slider 203, a load beam, and a hinge, and a reinforcing member with a prescribed stiffness is provided on the suspension tongue.
