PURIFICATION METHOD OF FURNACE EXHAUST GAS, AND HEAT TREATMENT APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH PURIFICATION FUNCTION FOR EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of a furnace exhaust gas which traps and removes acidic gas components discharged from a furnace for heat treating wastes in an early possible stage, and a heat treatment apparatus equipped with a purification function for an exhaust gas.

SOLUTION: Provided are the purification method of the furnace exhaust gas which is characterized in that substances containing alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds are blown in the furnace to perform heat treatment to cause a reaction with gas components generated from materials to be heated; and the heat treatment apparatus equipped with the purification function for exhaust gas which is characterized by providing a blowing-in means for substances containing alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compounds; a cyclone for collecting dust in the exhaust gas from a rotary kiln on the back side of the kiln; and a passage for discharging the collected dust to the outside of the system at the lower part of the cyclone.
