<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hardened film having sufficient film strength, prevented from curling, and having good brittleness, and an antireflection film using the hardened film; further to provide a hardened film, an antireflection film, a polarizing plate and an image display device subjected to reflection-preventing treatment by a proper means, having excellent physical strength, inexpensive, and excellent in productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The hardened film is obtained by coating/hardening a coating composition containing the following components (A) and (B) on a transparent supporter to form a hardcoat layer: (A) a hardenable multibranched polymer (RHB) obtained by binding a photohardenable reactive group and/or a thermosetting reactive group to 10-90 mol% of (a) a reactive group present at the branched terminals of a multibranched polymer (HB); and (B) at least one kind of a hardening agent and a hardening accelerator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
