<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic nano-particles which can be diffused in water, organic solvent and other organic liquid at nano-level and continue the diffusion at the nano-level for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a magnetic nano-particle complex in which the surface of a magnetic nano-particle (P), preferably of a particle containing iron oxide of which a volume average grain size is 3-1000nm, is covered with a protective agent (A) including a heterocyclic cationic group (a), preferably, imidazolium cation.
