PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system and a bus splitter capable of raising reliability. SOLUTION: The memory system has: a first NAND type flash memory (first nonvolatile storage means) 9 for storing a first piece of data; a second NAND type flash memory (second nonvolatile storage means) 10 for storing a second piece of data with the same content as that of the first data; a comparator circuit 81 for comparing the first and second pieces of data read from the first and second nonvolatile storage means 9, 10 with each other to detect noncoincidence of data and a reading position detection circuit 82 which detects a data reading position in the first nonvolatile storage means 9.
