PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating a corpse, with which sealing operation of the anus and the vagina of corpse is carried out simply, accurately and hygienically in excellent workability and which surely prevents body fluid leakage. SOLUTION: The apparatus for treating a corpse is equipped with a cylindrical main body 20 having a discharge part 22 at the tip end and a collar part 26 projected to the outside in the radial direction for catching a finger on the rear end part and a syringe 10 having a piston 30 slidably inserted from the rear end part side into the cylindrical main body. A jelly-like inhibitor (X) for preventing body fluid leakage and a water-absorbing fibrous filler (Y) are held in this order from the discharge part side in the inside of the cylindrical main body. The tip end of the cylindrical main body is detachably covered with a protective cap 29 so as to cover the discharge part. Preferably, the discharge part at the end of the cylindrical main body is formed in an approximately hemispherical shape by a plurality of tongue pieces 28 curved and extended outside toward the center in the radial direction and an opening part composed of openings made of the ends of the plurality of the tongue pieces and slits between the tongue pieces is formed.
