PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and to stabilize quality by preventing the displacement of both tubes in brazing without increasing manufacturing man-hours not so much, in a heat exchanger for an air conditioner wherein a high pressure-side tube having a flow channel for circulating a refrigerant of a high temperature and high pressure, and a low pressure-side tube having a flow channel for circulating a refrigerant of a low temperature and low pressure are brazed. SOLUTION: The high pressure-side tube 11 and the low pressure-side tube 31 are formed into flat plate shapes. High pressure-side header tanks 32, 33 and low pressure-side header tanks 32, 33 are disposed at both ends of the high pressure-side tube 11 and both ends of the low pressure-side tube 31. A plate-shaped tube holding member 18 composed of a clad material is disposed between the high pressure-side tube 11 and the low pressure-side tube 31. The tube holding member 18 has caulking portions 15a, 15d for the high pressure-side tube caulked to the high pressure-side tube 11, and caulking portions 15b, 15c for the low pressure-side tube caulked to the low pressure-side tube 31.
