A piezoelectric actuator is provided to vary a shape and an orientation of a vibrating contour by applying first to third driving signals to first to third driving electrodes. A piezoelectric actuator includes a piezoelectric element, which vibrates according to a combination of at least two vibration modes. A first driving electrode(11) and a second driving electrode(12) are implemented on a vibrating material, which includes the piezoelectric element. The first driving electrode applies a first driving signal for generating a vibration on one of the vibration modes, while the second driving electrode applies a second driving signal for generating a vibration on the other of the vibration modes. A phase regulator(33) regulates a phase of one of the first and second driving signals.
