<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose with protector usable without restrictions on an arrangement section such as high temperature, a narrow space, etc. and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This hose 10 with protector is constituted by fixing the protector 2 to the outer periphery of a bent part A of a hose main body 1 having at least the bent part in one section. This protector is made of a heat contraction tube manufactured by using ethylene-αolefin copolymer or olefin elastomer as a main component and contracting by heating. This manufacturing method for the hose comprises a primary vulcanization process for inserting a mandrel into an unvulcanized hose main body and vulcanizing the hose main body to such extent that holds its shape and a secondary vulcanization process for pulling the mandrel out of the hose main body vulcanized primarily and then arranging the heat contraction tube in the bent part of the hose main body to vulcanize the hose main body up to final degree of rubber vulcanization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
