PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of acquiring an image with stable signal intensity from a first capturing image and using it for a contrast-enhanced perfusion analysis method, in a contrast-enhanced perfusion method. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging apparatus sets a period from starting a measurement till starting a real imaging sequence as a preliminary excitation period for non-measuring echo signals and applies a high-frequency pulse at a same repetition time interval. The signal intensity of a time-series image acquired by the real imaging sequence is stabilized by executing the preliminary excitation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
