PURPOSE:To simplify device constitution by fixing two toner images on the top and reverse surfaces of recording paper at the same time under pressure. CONSTITUTION:a photoconductive drum 1 is charged uniformly by a charger 3 and irradiated with a laser beam 24 to form a latent image, which is developed by a developing device 6 to form one toner image. The laser beam 24 is focused on the photoconductive drum 1 through a semiconductor laser 20, a convergent lens 21, a rotary lens 18, and mirrors 16, 14 to scan on the surface. Similarly, the other toner image is formed on the other photoconductive drum 2. Thus, toner images formed on two drums 1 and 2 are transferred and fixed on both the surfaces of recording paper 10, obtained by feeding rolled paper 7 to a cuter 9 by feed rollers 8 and cutting it to the desired size, at the same time by being pressed by the photoconductive drums 1 and 2. If necessary, a bias for assisting the transfer is applied by a bias power source 13. |
