SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an electrolyte composition containing a chelate compound having partial structure represented by chemical formulas (1)-(3) has a conditioning process conducting in a condition satisfying ct/V≥1.08×10<SP>-3</SP>in charging of one cycle. [In the formula, c is the concentration of the chelate compound in an electrolyte (mol/dm<SP>3</SP>); t is the accumulated time (h) of a period when a positive electrode potential as a reference of lithium is 3.5 V or more and the positive electrode potential or less in a full charge state; V is the average potential (V) of the positive electrode; c is 0.004 (mol/dm<SP>3</SP>) or more; t is 0.75 (h) or more; V is 3.5≤V≤3.8].
