<p>The object is to provide an agent for external application which can be used for amelioration of itching on the hyperesthetic skin. Disclosed is an agent for external application to the skin which can be used for amelioration of itching on the hyperesthetic skin. The agent comprises a local anesthetic agent (e.g., lidoacine), urea, a refrigerant agent (e.g., menthol, camphor), an alcohol (e.g., ethanol, absolute ethanol, isopropanol, propylene glycol, cetostearyl alcohol) and water. The agent can rapidly replace itching on the hyperesthetic skin by other sensation (e.g., cooling sensation, burning sensation) to suppress the itching, and the replacement effect or the suppression effect can be maintained over a long period.</p> |
