摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical head device, which reduces jitters and stabilizes RF amplitude, even when an angle formed between the polarized surfaces of laser beams emitted from first and second semiconductor lasers is deviated from predetermined conditions, and also to provide the optical head device. <P>SOLUTION: When the optical head device 1 is assembled, a 1/4 wavelength board 30, a twin laser light source 10 (first and second semiconductor lasers 11 and 12), an optical system, and a light receiving element 13 are mounted on a frame, and then each of the first and second semiconductor lasers 11 and 12 is lit to detect a signal in the light receiving element 13. Based on this signal detection result, the angle position of the 1/4 wavelength plate 30 is adjusted on the frame, and then the 1/4 wavelength plate 30 is fixed to the frame with an adhesive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
