PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling system using a package air conditioner capable of stably performing cooling even at high load such as midsummer, lowering operation costs for stable operation in cooling, and improved in maintenance management and construction workability. SOLUTION: In this cooling system by the package air conditioner composed of an outdoor unit comprising a compressor and a condenser, an indoor unit and a pressure reducing device, a solar battery is further disposed, a Peltier element is disposed on the way of a returning pipe conduit of a refrigerant from the indoor unit to the compressor in a state of covering at least a part of the pipe conduit, and DC power is supplied to the Peltier element from the solar battery. The solar battery is disposed in an azimuth direction corresponding to a time zone of high cooling load of a building, and the pipe conduit in which the Peltier element is disposed, is a pipe conduit from the indoor unit to the condenser. The Peltier element is a rectangular cooling unit, and cylindrically covers the pipe conduits along the pipe conduit, and fins are attached toward an outer side of the cooling unit.
