An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) backlight socket and an installation method thereof are provided to manufacture a body of a socket as a conduction member, thereby simplifying the working process of the socket. A body(100) is attached on the upper portion of a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) substrate and constructed by a conductor. A fluorescent lamp lead insertion groove is slantly formed at the center of the body so that the lead of the fluorescent lamp is inserted. A fluorescent lamp lead fixing member(200) compresses and fixes the lead of the fluorescent lamp toward the lower direction of the fluorescent lead insertion hole. A secession preventing member(300) is fixed with the fluorescent lamp lead fixing member at the upper portion of the fluorescent lamp lead fixing member and compresses the body and the fixing member so that the secession of the fluorescent lamp lead fixing member is prevented. The body has the shape of M. The fluorescent lamp lead fixing member is made of silicon or rubber material. The secession prevention member is fixed to the fixing plate and the PCB substrate by nuts.
