A SHIELDED, BRAIDED WIRE CABLE INCLUDES A PLURALITY OF BRAIDED WIRE PAIRS EXTENDING ALONG ITS LENGTH, EACH PAIR CONTAINING A REFERENCE CORE WIRE AND A NON-REFERENCE CORE WIRE, THE REFERENCE CORE WIRE OF EACH PAIR HAVING AN OUTER INSULATION WHICH HAS A DISTINCTIVE PRESELECTED FIRST OR SECOND REFERENCE COLOR, AND THE NON-REFERENCE CORE WIRE HAVING AN OUTER INSULATION WITH A PRESELECTED COLOR OTHER THAN THE REFERENCE COLOR. THIS COLOR CODING OF THE WIRES PERMITS THE CORE WIRES CAN BE SEPARATED IN TWO DISTINCT WIRE GROUPS, WHEREIN ONE HALF OF THE WIRE PAIRS BELONGING TO THE FIRST WIRE GROUP INCLUDE THE REFERENCE CORE WIRES OF THE FIRST REFERENCE COLOR, AND THE OTHER HALF OF THE PAIRS BELONGING TO THE SECOND WIRE GROUP INCLUDE THE REFERENCE CORE WIRES OF THE SECOND REFERENCE COLOR. THE REFERENCE AND NON-REFERENCE CORE WIRES OF EACH GROUP MAY BE EASILY DISTINGUISHED AND SEPARATED VISUALLY IN TERMS OF THEIR WIRE INSULATION COLOR. SUCH WIRE-ARRANGEMENTS ARE ADVANTAGEOUSLY FREE FROM EXCESSIVE CROSSINGS BETWEEN REFERENCE AND NON-REFERENCE CORE WIRES, AND CLUMPS OF CORE WIRES AT THE DIVERGING FLARE OF CORE WIRES AT THE STRIPPED END OF THE BRAIDED WIRE CABLE.
