PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electronic device in an inner section of a printer from being affected by static electricity entering the inner section from the outside through an issuing slot. SOLUTION: An open cover 104 is openably attached to a base housing 103 having a paper storage section so as to cover the paper storage section and a housing 102 forming a guide path for rolled paper accommodated in the paper storage section is disposed between the base housing 103 and the open cover 104. A printing/conveyance section for performing printing by conveying the rolled paper guided on the guide path is provided in the housing 102 and an electricity discharge sheet 112 for discharging static electricity to the air is provided so as to cover a metallic member such as, for example, a cutter 110 which is provided to the depth of the issuing slot 109 for issuing the printed rolled paper, the issuing slot 109 being formed on the housing 102 so as to communicate with the guide path.
