PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of concentrated winding of higher heat radiation characteristics. SOLUTION: The stator of concentrated winding comprises a plurality of teeth 12 of magnetic body, and a coil 2 formed by winding a wire 21 on the teeth 12. A spacer 3 is interposed between adjoining coils 2, and the spacer 3 is made from an insulating inorganic material. Since the spacer 3 is interposed between the coils 2 formed on the teeth 12, the heat of the coil 2 is efficiently radiated through the spacer 3. At least one kind selected from among alumina, aluminium nitride, boron nitride, silicon nitride, and silicon carbide is appropriately used as the spacer 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
