PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work vehicle capable of shortening speed change time in gear shifting, and reducing a shift shock at speed change. SOLUTION: The work vehicle travels by transmitting power from an engine 6 to a driving axle 73 through a transmission having a main transmission device 20, a main clutch 30, a sub transmission device 40, and a fore-and-aft travel switching device 50. The main transmission device 20, the sub transmission device 40, and the main clutch 30 are operated by the operation of an actuator on the basis of the operation of a transmission operating means. The sub transmission device 40 is made from a synchronous engaging type gear transmission device, and disposed on an immediately downstream side of a transmitting path in regard to the main clutch 30.
