<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set for ink-jet recording reducing a bronze phenomenon, to provide a method for recording using the same, to provide an ink-jet record using the method, to provide an aqueous dispersion used for the ink set and to provide water-based inks comprising the aqueous dispersion. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set for the ink-jet recording comprises the water-based ink (A) containing water-insoluble polymer particles (α) containing silica particles and the water-based ink (B) containing a pigment except the silica particles.
