PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mount display capable of saving operations of a display unit by a user when the user manipulates a display arm. SOLUTION: The display is used so that the display unit 5 can come to the face of the user when it is used, and the display arm 4 is rotated in a direction of the top of the head to allow the display unit 5 to evacuate from the user's face when it is not used (during idling). A grip 6 is attached on the display arm 4 to be positioned on the side surface of the user's face, so that it does not come within the user's field of view when the head mount display is used. When turning the display arm 4, the user holds the grip 6 with the fingertips and rotates the display arm 4. By doing this, the rotation of the display 5 due to grasp by the user can be prevented when the display arm 4 is rotated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
