METHOD FOR EVALUATING SAFETY OF AIR PALLET TRANSPORTATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the safety of an air pallet transportation device in a short time by shortening the time for analyzing the behavior of an air pallet or a cask when external force acts on the device. SOLUTION: In a method for evaluating the safety of the air pallet transportation device composed by including a pedestal on which a heavy load is placed fixedly, the air pallet placed under the pedestal, a travelling flat car coupled to the pedestal so that the flat car can be attached to and detached from it and an air supply source which is placed on the travelling flat car to float the pedestal by supplying air to the air pallet; the time history analysis of the behavior when an external force acts on the air pallet transportation device is conducted by using an analysis model (S103a) of the air pallet transportation device to calculate the slippage and floatation amount (S103b) and evaluate the safety on the basis of the calculated slippage and floatation amount (S104).
