<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the used amount of the electric power and the air for assisting the combustion. SOLUTION: Temps. of different parts of a filter 32 are sensed by a plurality of temp. sensors 41 and 42, and a controller 40 grasps whether the temp. of the filter 32 has risen to the level of burning processing, and heating of the filter 32 by a heater 33 is controlled and the used amount of electric power at heating the filter 32 is suppressed. The controller 40 also grasps whether the temp. of the filter 32 has decreased to the level at which the air feed is stopped, and the supply of the combustion assisting air to the filter 32 by an air supplying means 9 is controlled, and the used amount of the combustion assisting air at the time of burning particulates is suppressed.</p> |
