PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify the presence/absence of an unopened electronic mail in a terminal apparatus with one electronic mail address to a terminal apparatus with another electronic mail address. SOLUTION: A notifying system 10 comprises: a storage 120 for storing the plurality of mail addresses of the same user and time periods to use the plurality of mail addresses by correspondence, a transmitting means 100 for transmitting notifying information by electronic mail to the mail address corresponding to the time period including the present time, and an opening notification receiving means 110 for receiving the opening notification of the electronic mail. The storage means 120 stores the number or transmission electronic mails in the prescribed time period and the number of opened mails among the transmission electronic mails in correspondence with the time period. The transmitting means 100 acquires the number of transmission mails and the number of opened mails at the termination of the applicable time period from the storage 120, and performs transmission by the electronic mail to the mail address corresponding to the time period after the applicable time period in the time period after the applicable time period.
