PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a connector including thermoplastic resin excellent in fluidity and mechanical characteristics and a connector consisting of it. SOLUTION: Resin composition for the connector is made up by blending (B) 0.01 to 50 parts by weight of a fluidity improving agent to (A) 100 parts by weight of thermoplastic resin. (B) the fluidity improving agent is preferred to include at least one selected from a branched polymer, liquid crystal polymer, low-molecular-weight straight-chain polyester, low-molecular-weight straight-chain polycarbonate, aromatic low-molecular-weight compound, and acrylic compound, and (A) the thermoplastic resin is preferred to be polybutylene terephthalate.
