<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of measuring accurately internal quality of produce by removing fluctuation of a base line by calibrating the device without discontinuing measurement, concerning the device for measuring the internal quality of produce by light transmitted through an inspection object. <P>SOLUTION: This device has a conveyance means for conveying the object continuously, a detection means for detecting the position of the object placed on the conveyance means, a floodlighting means for floodlighting measuring light to the object, a light receiving means for receiving light transmitted through the object, an analysis means for analyzing the internal quality of the object by the light received by the light receiving means, and a reference body insertion means for inserting a reference body having a prescribed optical characteristic in an optical path between the floodlighting means and the light receiving means based on a signal from the detection means.
