PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking supporting device capable of supporting the parking of a vehicle by a driver regardless of the travelling direction of the vehicle. SOLUTION: This parking supporting device is provided with a display device 31 having an audio unit 20 to output at least a voice, a rear monitor 32 for a rear seat user to display a picture image and an actuator 31 to move the rear monitor 32 between a using position and a storing position, a position detector 2 to detect a current position of the vehicle and a control circuit 1 to carry out parking supporting control to move the rear monitor 32 to the storing position by driving the actuator 31 and muting the voice by the audio unit 20 or stopping an output of the voice when the current position detected by the position detector 2 is a specified position on map data memorized in a map data input device 2.
