The device has a diffuser channel (16) formed between guide arms, where a lower reference face of the channel is formed by a bottom plate (6.2). An air flow is generated in the channel in the moving direction of a sheet to be rotated to cause an attachment of the sheet on the guide arms and to form an upper reference face of the channel. An airflow-blocking device (8) is arranged in the channel for interrupting airflow during passage of the sheets. The device (8) is rotatably formed from a surface of the bottom plate in the channel.
