<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which automatically collects apparatus configuration to send it to a central control unit, and an apparatus remote control system which centrally controls apparatuses on the bases of information of the apparatus configuration and control information. <P>SOLUTION: In an apparatus remote control system 1, communication apparatuses aTS to nTS of customer sites KSa to KSn search for apparatuses connected to Ethernet segments aISS1 to nISSm forming Ethernets aISN to nISN in the customer sites KSa to KSn, and send search results as information of segment apparatus configuration to a control server SV of a center system CS. The control sever SV records the sent information of segment apparatus configuration as information of segment apparatus configuration of the Ethernet segments aISS1 to nISSm in the customer sites KSa to KSn in a database for control DB, to output the information of segment apparatus configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
